My time as a fitness coach started while I was finishing my degree at K-State, training staff and residents at a local retirement home in 2009. I then moved home to St. Louis and worked at a commercial gym for 3 years. In 2012, I started my own business taking fitness on the go to you!
I have a lot of experience training high school athletes, boomers and seniors, and everyone in between. Whether your goal is to lose fat, gain lean muscle, become a better athlete, or just move and feel better, I can help you.
I don’t believe in fad diets. I don’t think athletes should train like body builders, or worry about how much grandma can bench press. I don’t think it’s realistic to expect radical transformations in a matter of a few weeks like you may see advertised on TV or radio. I believe in learning the basics and doing them consistently.

In my youth, I played baseball, soccer and basketball. When I started high school at Parkway North, I played soccer and baseball and then Legion Baseball in the summer. I also was dedicated in the weight room, motivated by Coach Kinney who was a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist).
With my time in the weight room, I found another sport I was good at, eventually becoming a state champion Olympic weightlifter for my weight class. The weight room also inspired me to switch from soccer to football for my last two years of high school. In baseball, I dealt with an elbow injury that I played through, eventually ending my baseball days after my sophomore season. I then made the switch to lacrosse. I caught on quickly and was an All-Star in the state of Missouri by my senior year. I took my lacrosse game with me to Kansas State and played 4 years there.
I have been married since 2012 to my wife, Kelly. In my free time, I am an avid mountain biker, play golf, and enjoy hiking with our dog.
